It's time to launch our first creative-mode build contest on the server! No need to submit maps or screenshots, we have a dedicated world for everyone - and you can still talk to each other across maps seamlessly thanks to Dmnchild!

The theme of this build contest will be a Minecraft theme - whaaaat - but by Update! Nether, Bees, Aquatic, Combat, Horses, etc! There is otherwise NO LIMIT on building format - it can be a building, a statue, pixel art, whatever you'd like. It can be dedicated to the entire update's theme or specific features of the update.

Plots are your choice between 25x25 and 55x55. There's no set build limit other than vanilla, but you may want to keep render height in mind. Digging is allowed.

Each build will be posted on the forums by staff members before closing, though players may choose to submit their own screenshots instead before the deadline with shaders/resource packs of their choice. Users with stronger computers are allowed to offer free or paid screenshot services to builders, but will not receive any portion of rewards (unless given by the winner).

ALL builds will be judged in-game with basic vanilla textures, however. Players are also invited to walk around and explore builds.

Teams are permitted, but users will need to decide how to divide one prize between themselves, by themselves.

There will be a two-week sign-up period, where you may message a mod or admin in-game or through Discord with the plot size you would like. Once you receive your plot, you may begin building. After the initial sign-up, users may continue to enter but will not receive any additional time to complete their builds and plot size will not be optional.

More entries means better prizes. Even if you don't win, you will still win a participation award.

Sign-ups begin February 26th and will run until March 12th.
The contest will end on April 2nd. Please allow 1-2 weeks at most for judging and rewards.
